Woodlawn Hockey kicks off this week! Come support your Panthers at the RBC Center tomorrow. The girls play at 4pm against Island View, and the boys kick off at 5:30 against JL Ilsley. See you at the rink!
Congratulations to the Football team on their 35-21 win over Sydney Academy on Sunday. The team has one final home game this coming Sunday at 5:00PM to close out the regular season. Pick up a pink T-Shirt this week to gain free entry.
Boys Basketball tryouts start tonight at 8PM in the New Gym.
There will be open gym at 3:30pm tomorrow after school in the new gym for anyone interested in playing girls basketball. Tryouts will take place Monday, October 21st from 8pm-10pm.
Halifax Transit Travel Training Booth will be on site at lunch on October 29, chatting with students at WHS from 11am till 1pm.
What to Expect: On the scheduled date, we’ll be setting up an information booth during lunchtime in the main foyer. This will give students a chance to learn more about how to use their student pass, understand the benefits of public transportation, and get a feel for the Transit Code of Conduct.
The girls soccer team will have a very brief meeting today at lunch in Room 229. The girls are reminded of their first playoff game today at 6:00pm at Harbour East Field against Lockview. If you cannot attend the meeting at lunch, please see Mr. Sweetapple at some point today.
